Piston Weights and Measurements
January 18, 2019
I've started this cheat sheet of piston weights and measurements to make engine building a little easier. I know there are many times I would like to know what a set of pistons weigh or measure before I buy them. It helps speed things along and removes guess work.
Due to modern manufacturing these figures should not vary much at all, especially with brand name pistons. The weights given are for a SET of pistons, rings, pins, and clips, like you would need for balancing the crank assembly.
Measurements are the actual measurement of the Piston, NOT the Bore. Bore size would be piston + clearance
